PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Bay District Schools spent Saturday providing students with the tools they need to succeed, which weren't limited to solely school supplies.

At the district's warehouse, people were able to have orders of clothing and school supplies filled.

The warehouse was filled with brand new donated items from across the nation.

"It's just amazing to see what our community and the United States is doing for us and for our kids because the majority of them have lost everything. And so just being able to provide them with the basic needs of shirts and pants and underwear and things like that, that's what we're excited to do," said STEM Administrator for Gulf Coast State College and Bay District Schools, Katie McCurdy.

This operation will be going on until next Friday.
