LYNN HAVEN, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Locals came out for a night of music and worship Saturday night, all to help out some younger members of law enforcement.
The 55th annual Gospel Sing was held at the Gretchen Nelson Scott Fine Arts Center at Mosley High School in Lynn Haven.
The concert featured two chart-topping gospel acts as well as some local acts.
The event is put on by the Bay County Sheriff's Office and all the proceeds go towards helping the Junior Deputies and Explorers program.
Deputy Matthew Cole of the Bay County Sheriff's Office said,
"Basically we buy uniforms, we pay for us to go to training and trips to Gatlinburg and we do our annual competition at Winterfest there."
The three acts performing were Michael Lee, Cori and Kelly, and New Journey.
