BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - After Hurricane Michael, Bay District Schools set up a help hotline for parents with questions.

Now officials tell us they’re resurrecting the 767- HELP hotline while students are out of school.

District officials say they want to get as much information out to parents as they can.

The phone line will be answered Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

"There's a push two for Spanish option, we have one of our Spanish language translators who's able to take those calls. So we're doing our best to just answer questions. If we don't have the answer, then our person who's answering the phone will do some research and get back to somebody,” said Sharon Michalik, Director of Communications for Bay District Schools.

Officials tell us they’re also updating the "frequently asked questions" document on Facebook.
