BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - As the Red Cross will be consolidating its shelters, Arnold High School students will go to school on Surfside Middle School's campus.
According to Bay District Schools' Facebook page, Deane Bozeman School, Breakfast Point Academy and Surfside Middle School shelter operations will be consolidated into one location at Arnold High School.
The post said Arnold will not serve as a shelter past December 31st.
The post also said, "Pre-K will still be operational and Arnold will retain full use of the gym building and athletic facilities throughout the duration of the shelter operation."
Arnold will be at Surfside from 7 a.m. until noon and Surfside will be on its campus from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
This comes after Bay District Schools announced split schedules for a handful of other campuses with the same timetable (high school in the morning and middle school in the afternoon).
Bay High School will be at Jinks Middle School from 7 a.m. until noon. Jinks will be on its campus from 1 to 6 p.m.
Rutherford High School will have class in the morning and Everitt Middle School will come to Rutherford in the afternoon.
Mosley High School will have class in the morning and Merritt Brown Middle School will come to Mosley in the afternoon.
