PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Big Gus is back in town... and that's no bull!
The 20,000-pound steer was knocked over during Hurricane Michael, but Friday, he made his way home from Ashford, Alabama. He has been getting repaired there for the last five months.
A throng of well-wishers with homemade signs was waiting in front of Angelo's Steak Pit to welcome Big Gus home.
He has reclaimed his spot at the front of Angelo's where tourists and locals alike can return to taking pictures with the beloved Panama City Beach icon.
