PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Mother nature took down a local landmark during Hurricane Michael five months ago, and she just might be taking it down again.
Big Gus was set to arrive Thursday at Angelo's Steak Pit after being in Alabama for repairs caused by Hurricane Michael.
The 20,000 pound bull was unable to return back home Thursday because of the wind. The company was having issues transporting the bull along the highway with the high wind speeds.
Due to this, Angelo's told us they had to send home the crane they had waiting to help set up the beloved bull and are now anticipating when it will arrive.
Carolyn Butchikas said, "We are super excited, and that's no bull," when asked about the return of Big Gus.
The Butchikas family has hopes that Big Gus will arrive Friday morning.
