Body found on west end of PCB is identified
UPDATE: September 8th, 2016 (3:15 p.m.)
The body found outside a Panama City Beach apartment complex Wednesday has been identified.
Panama City Beach Police say, The Bay County Medical Examiner positively identified the body as Ronald Wade Thomas II.
Thomas was previously listed as missing and endangered on Monday, August 29th. Police say, he was reportedly seen walking on U.S. Highway 98 near the west end of Panama City Beach on September 3rd.
At this time, foul play is not suspected and official determination of the cause of death will be made by the medical examiner's office at a later date.

Panama City Beach Police confirmed they turned the body over to the Medical Examiner's Office.
Crews on scene were unable to identify the body. Crime scene officials examined and worked the scene for about four hours Wednesday. The Medical Examiner will now work to identify the body and determine the cause of death.
Multiple law enforcement agencies are on the scene Wednesday morning at an apartment complex in Panama City Beach, where a body was found in a wooded area.
The call came in about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday after a landscaper found the body next to The Retreat at PCB on Sandal Lane on the west end of Panama City Beach.
Few details are being released, but we do know the Panama City Beach Police Department and Bay County Sheriff's Office are investigating. Crime scene investigators are on scene as well. A wooded area next to the apartment complex has been roped off by police tape.
Investigators haven't released any details, including the approximate age or gender of the person involved.
Witnesses tell us that multiple police cars were seen near the wooded area.
