JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - On Thursday, Jackson County school officials say Marianna High School administrators discovered a threat written on a wall.

They say the threat said, "I am going to bomb the school tomorrow."

Officials are not sure when it was written, but say the threat is not considered credible. They will continue to try and determine who wrote it.

They also ask if anyone has information about the situation to notify school officials or law enforcement.

Superintendent of Schools H. Larry Moore asks parents to speak to their children about the severity of this kind of activity.

Suspicious behavior can be anonymously reported through the district's tip line at 850-482-1217 or through the FortifyFL App.
