Bozeman Future Farmers of America recognized nationally
Bozeman's Future Farmers of America program was recognized nationally in Indianapolis last week.
The school was acknowledged for its shoreline restoration program, which involved students creating breaker reefs out of oysters to prevent further erosion.
FFA teaches students about family sustainability, and they are given a chance to work with a variety of animals from cows to chickens to rabbits.
The project was spearheaded by Caitlynn Oswald, who accepted the award in Indianapolis.
