CareerSource Gulf Coast updates procedures in response to COVID-19

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - CareerSource Gulf Coast is making some changes due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Kim Bodine, Executive Director of CareerSource Gulf Coast, says that as of Wednesday, March 25, all offices will operate on an appointment-only service delivery system.

Due to limitations placed on businesses across the nation, CareerSource Gulf Coast says it is anticipated that a large number of individuals will be laid off, whether it be temporarily or permanently. Officials say it is important to note that although Florida’s Reemployment Assistance Program is operated under the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, CareerSource Gulf Coast has resources for those who need help filing their Reemployment Assistance claim.
