PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG) - The biggest Mardi Gras celebration in Bay County is happening this weekend. Jordan McCool joined us live with a preview.
Celebrating its 23rd Anniversary, the Krewe of St. Andrew's invites people of all ages to come see more than 30 brightly colored floats, enjoy festive music, and catch some of the tens of thousands of beads and doubloons that will be tossed the crowd. The two-day parade and festival kicks off Friday and continues on Saturday.
On Friday there will be a pet costume contest at 3 p.m. and a kids and pet parade at 4 p.m. The festival then goes from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Then, on Saturday, the festival continues from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and the main parade will begin at 2 p.m.
