MARIANNA, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Chipola College is reaching out to victims of Hurricane Michael through scholarships.
The McLendon Educational Trust Hurricane Michael Relief Scholarship applications are now available in the Chipola College Foundation office and on the college website.
Proof of hurricane damage is not required.
This is not a new scholarship. Officials said they wanted to help students affected by Hurricane Michael.
"We wanted to make some extra funds available through scholarships toward tuition and books for spring semester for Chipola College," Foundation Director Julie Fuqua said.
There's no closing date for applications.They will be accepted until funds are gone.
Applications may be dropped off at the Foundation office or mailed to the Chipola College Foundation.
