PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Two people are facing charges after allegedly holding an elderly woman at knife-point and forcing her to drive them around Panama City Beach.

Police say Adam Horne, 34, and Rachel Price, 30, both from North Carolina, were arrested Monday after the woman reportedly offered to help the couple out by giving them a ride.

They say during the drive, Horne pulled a knife on the woman and ordered her to drive them to a gas station to fill up the car before taking them to Georgia. While at the gas station the woman was able to drive away from Horne and Price and call 911.

Horne and Price reportedly took off on foot and stole a vehicle before being caught near Highway 231 and Highway 20.

Horne is charged with grand theft auto, kidnapping, and armed robbery. Price is charged with principal in the first degree to grand theft auto.
