Couple commits armed robbery at convenience store

Okaloosa County Sheriff's deputies are investigating an armed robbery.

Officials say the armed robbery took place at the Tom Thumb at 8200 Highway 85 North in Laurel Hill around 2:45 a.m. Saturday.

They also say the clerk at the Tom Thumb said a man and woman wearing masks entered the store with a firearm and demanded money.

The couple ran off with cash and tobacco products.

Officials ask anyone with information to call the OCSO at 850-689-5705 or contact Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers at 850-863-TIPS.

There is no other information on the couple at this time.
