Crestview Police prepare for Cops for Kids toy distribution

(Crestview Police Department)

CRESTVIEW, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - We haven't carved the turkey or over indulged on pie yet, but Crestview Police are already thinking about Christmas and how to help children.

Santa's elves in blue at the Crestview Police Department are getting ready for the Cops for Kids toy distribution. The program makes sure there are presents under a Christmas tree for many families in the area.

To pick up an application for the program, you can stop by the police department in the Whitehurst Municipal Building, 201 Stillwell Boulevard; Crestview City Hall, 98 Wilson Street North; or visit the police department's website www.CrestviewPD.org. Applications will be accepted from November 20th to December 19th.

If you would like to give a gift, you can drop off an unwrapped, new toy to the police department, Crestview Public Library, Crestview City Hall, all Crestview, Laurel Hill, Holt, or Baker Dollar General stores, Crestview's Walgreen's Pharmacy, or Allen Turner Chevrolet. If you would like to donate cash, you must give it to an officer at the police department.
