Some witnesses say they saw a delivery truck hit the power pole.

The Tidewater Beach Resort was able to get power back on through a generator, but a medical clinic was closed.

Witnesses say they heard a loud noise from the scene.

"He ripped that power pole out that's sitting next to the medical clinic shop. Well, whenever that pole hit the ground it shorted out this pole and blew the transformer out," said Ty Uthe, who witnessed the event.

Gulf Power was on the scene to help clean up.

Several vehicles were also hit by the downed lines. It is not known at this time if anyone was hurt.
