Despite the coronavirus pandemic, early voting kicked off Monday for the upcoming municipal elections.

The only early voting place is the Oatfield Center, next door to the Lyndell Senior Center in Panama City Beach.

Election officials say they’re only allowing ten people in at a time and keeping them six feet apart to comply with social distancing.

Voters are also asked to wear masks or gloves when they come to vote.

The center will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Friday.

Officials say if voters have a mail-in ballot they have not sent in yet, to mail it as soon as possible before Election Day, which is April 21st.
