Eglin Air Force base will do a salute flyover using a two-ship formation of fighter aircraft.

They are scheduled to flyover Okaloosa County medical facilities on Thursday, May 14.

The flyover is to show Team Eglin’s appreciation for healthcare workers, first responders and essential personnel serving on the frontlines in during COVID-19.

The flight path is scheduled to start in Destin over Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital Emerald Coast Miramar Beach, then move to Fort Walton Beach over Fort Walton Beach Medical Center, then to Niceville over Twin Cities Hospital, and will end in Crestview over North Okaloosa Medical Center. The flyover will start at 1:30 p.m. and last until 1:45 p.m.

The date and times may change based on weather, training missions, and or airspace availability.

Spectators are asked to follow social distancing guidelines.
