Emma Skipper is a senior at Bay High School and is very involved in after school clubs.
"I'm in SGA and FCA, and with SGA, I'm class chaplain too, so we work a lot with just like the community and bringing people together and stuff," she said.
She is also very involved in her church and her youth group.
Emma told us, "Church has always been a big part for me and my family, and again like even with SGA like helping people I like doing that anyway we can so with like our youth group we go on like mission trips over the summer which is always a great thing to do."
One mission trip stood out to Emma.
"My favorite one was like two summers ago we went to Navajoe and like Arizona and like New Mexico and just like seeing like the little kids like building their house and just like running around with them and the dogs it was always so fun," she said.
Emma's humanitarian spirit is why she is this week's 850Strong Student of the Week, and why her future is looking bright.
"I'm actually going to FAU in Boca Raton for college and I'm majoring in business. I hope to open my own business one day," Emma said.
