FRANKLIN, JACKSON COUNTIES, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Hurricane Michael left many homes damaged in the Florida Panhandle.
If you're trying to do some repairs on your own or want to know more about what you're hiring someone else to do, FEMA is teaming up with stores in Franklin and Jackson Counties to do free rebuilding and repair advice.
FEMA specialists will be at ACE Hardware in Apalachicola and Lowes Home Improvement Center in Marianna November 23rd through November 27th.
They say they will offer guidance on home improvement methods to prevent or reduce damage from future disasters. They say most of the information and the free publications are tailored for do-it-yourself work and general contractors.
