BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A local church is getting a helping hand from FEMA to help rebuild their facilities.

Earlier this week FEMA approved more than $3.2 million to help the Christ Church of Panama City replace their facility after it was destroyed by Hurricane Michael.

The grant is funded by FEMA's Public Assistance Program which provides grants to state, tribal, and local governments as well as certain non-profits including houses of worship.
