FEMA urges storm victims to submit insurance settlement information

NORTHWEST, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) -- If you're a Hurricane Michael survivor who has registered for disaster assistance but haven't reported your insurance settlement information to FEMA, the organization is urging you to do so as soon as possible.

FEMA officials tell us without this information, FEMA cannot fully process your application which could keep you from receiving the help you're entitled to receive.

To report this information, FEMA representatives ask that you go online to www.disasterassistance.gov; or call (800) 621-3362.
