The fest was held at Pier Park and featured 15 different restaurants. Each restaurant was passing out seafood dishes of its choice and had everything from gumbo to shrimp and grits.

Community members could come out and pay $35 at the door, or $25 beforehand, to try all types of seafood.

Syara Perez, the Director of Marketing & Business Development for Pier Park, said, "It's really just helping the restaurants get their name out there. If someone has come from out of town and they come to the event, they sample 15 different places, and they might end up going to it and enjoying it with their family later on during their vacation here."

Perez went on to say they plan on holding this event for many years to come.
