Five separate arrests made after an operation to protect children from child pornographers

Okaloosa County School Resource Officers teamed up with Cyber Investigators to protect children from child pornographers.

Deputies say they served five separate search warrants that led to five men being arrested.

Deputies arrested Christopher Howard, 30, of Crestview and charged him with 20 counts of possession of child pornography. Deputies say 54 images or videos of child pornography were recovered with victims as young as 4 years old.

Deputies arrested Talon Gamblin, 20, of Crestview and charged him with 20 counts of possession of child pornography, transmission of child pornography, and use of a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony. Deputies say 64 images or videos of child pornography were recovered with victims as young as 7 years old.

Deputies arrested Michael Wilson, 18, of Shalimar and charged him with 25 counts of possession of child pornography. Deputies say over 2,000 images or videos of child pornography were recovered with victims as young as 2 years old.

Deputies arrested Curtis Jordan, 49, of Holt and charged him with 30 counts of possession of child pornography. Deputies say over 4,000 images or videos of child pornography were recovered with victims as young as 3 years old.

Deputies arrested John Peloquin, 56, of Shalimar and charged him with 15 counts of possession of child pornography. Deputies say 15 images or videos of child pornography were recovered with victims as young as 5 years old.
