Four dogs stolen from man in DeFuniak Springs

DEFUNIAK SPRINGS, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A Walton County man is searching for his dogs after they were stolen while he was out hunting.

According to Walton County deputies, the man left his home around 4 a.m. Saturday morning to go hunting. When he returned around noon that same day, four of his hunting dogs had allegedly been stolen from their kennel. The dog's collars were reportedly taken off and placed neatly on top of the kennels.

The cur dogs are described as follows:

12-year-old, female, “Flower”, small growth on left side
12-year-old male “Bambi”
5-year-old, male, “Jazz”, white marking on face, small growth on chest
1-year-old, female, “Sage”

The approximate value of the dogs is $3500.
