PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - With Gulf Coast Jam just weeks away, Panama City Beach officials pour more money into Frank Brown Park to make sure the venue is top of the line.

Monday, city officials announced the Tourist Development Council has committed $150,000 to upgrade to the festival site.

The money will go toward enhancing the electrical systems needed for stage entertainment and upgrading backstage parking to better accommodate setting up equipment.

Last week, the PCB City Council accepted a bid from New Tech Electrical Systems which will begin working on the electrical upgrades.
