A new way to get around Walton County is coming soon.

The first route for "GoWal", the county's new bus transportation system, starts June 29th.

It runs along Highway 331.

The route starts in DeFuniak Springs at the courthouse and ends in Santa Rosa Beach at the South Walton Courthouse Annex.

Riders can take the buses for free.

There will be two other routes, one that runs along the beach, and one that runs along Highway 98. The dates for those buses to start have not been announced yet.
