Good Friday morning everyone and TGIF!
It's a quiet start on VIPIR 7 Doppler Radar now that the cold front has passed through the Panhandle. And boy oh'boy what a wonderful feel we have outside right now.
The air is light and refreshing as temperatures are climbing down the scale into the 50s by sunrise. Some who are susceptible to cooler temps may want to grab a light jacket before heading out this morning.
We'll be in for a beauty over the Panhandle today as skies are clearing out this morning and abundant sunshine will open up. Winds are no longer from the south but have now shifted to the north. So that's clearing out our humidity leaving us feeling very dry, in fact you may want to keep the chapstick handy for the weekend as it will be that dry.
Temps will also be cooler than what we've seen this week. Yet they'll fall right around our seasonal average in the afternoons and in the mornings. Average morning lows are in the mid 40s and afternoon highs, in the beginning of march, are close to 69°.
An expansive area of high pressure is sliding into the Ohio Valley this weekend and that will help carve out a lot of sunshine for the upcoming weekend, while pumping in the seasonal & dry air.
For today, a few wispy upper level clouds in the morning with otherwise abundant sunshine and a nice breeze from the north. Highs today will reach the low 70s. Your VIPIR 7 Day Forecast will keep a seasonal feel going right into early next week with signs of cooler than average temperatures arriving midweek next week.
