PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - FunLand Arcade has gotten through the Cold War, Vietnam, September 11 and Hurricane Michael.

Add the COVID-19 pandemic to that list.
The arcade reopened Thursday after being forced to close in March. It hasn't been easy for the local icon.
"We were only at work for like two and a half weeks when we got the news we had to close down because of the pandemic, and it's been a long, hard time," said manager Ginny McDavid.
Now that it's back open, the arcade is looking to make up for lost time.
"I know we got calls continuously on when we were gonna reopen, so we're hoping to have a big, big rest of the summer."
