Littleton announced she would be retiring back in October.
It was an emotional meeting as board members and co-workers spoke about Littleton's time at the district.
While sad, Littleton said she's excited for what's to come.
"It's been interesting. We've had a lot of experiences. If we all sat down and wrote down some of the things that have happened to us, it would be a long book for sure, but it's all been great and I appreciate being able to serve," Littleton said.
She went on to say she's proud of the board and what they've accomplished in the year since Hurricane Michael.
Governor Ron DeSantis will be appointing someone to take over her position.
