With the unofficial start to summer behind us, Girls Inc. is preparing for its upcoming camps. Jordan McCool was live with what parents need to know.

Beginning on Monday, June 1, girls will participate in a variety of fun-filled activities designed to expand their knowledge and confidence. This year's theme is Summer Olympics in Japan. Activities include Olympic games, Japanese art, summer STEAM, and more.

Free breakfast and lunch will be provided each day. Camp will be Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Girls Inc. will be taking extra precautions this year. They will stay at half capacity in both locations, use smaller groups, practice social distancing, and health screenings will be conducted for all girls and employees. Pick up and drop off will be done outside, and there will be enhanced cleaning done, too.

Donations are also needed to help fund summer camp.
