PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Love is in the air and for those at Hallmark Flowers, this Valentine’s Day is even more special to them.
Shop owners say they're swamped this Valentine's Day. (WJHG/WECP)
This time last year they were working out of a trailer trying to get Valentine’s Day orders out.
Harrison McElheney, the owner of Hallmark Flowers said, "We were all bouncing off each other in the trailer, it's just nice to have, my designers have their own areas and they can really put out the work that we have."
The shop's main building reopened in June and this is the first Valentine’s Day back in the building.
"It is very good to be back as normal. We can finally move around a little bit better. We've got a lot more flowers in and it seems like there's a lot more love in the air. We have a lot of Valentine's orders," said McElheney
And just how much love is in the air?
McElheney said, “We’re just swamped, we're trying to get them all out the door in this rain but my drivers are doing a great job of that."
For those procrastinators, McElheney says they have a few arrangements already put together in the cooler.
