Homelessness in Panama City on the rise after Hurricane Michael

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG) - According to officials with the Panama City Rescue Mission, homelessness has been on the rise since Hurricane Michael.

Some guests joined us in the studio to tell us about how it's looking in our area and what people can do to help.

In 2018, the Panama City Rescue Mission saw an additional 1,000 people. The rescue mission provides a bed, three meals a day, and transportation.
