Gulf County

Red Cross is on scene and distributing supplies.

Food and water are available at the Wewahitchka High School and at the Port St Joe Elementary School.

MOBILE Distribution Sites for food and water. NOTE these are mobile and may change, but are available currently for residents who cannot get to the PODS at Wewahitchka High School or PSJ Elementary School.

Donation Drop Off Point and Supply Pick Up Point in Wewahitchka:
On Tuesday, Oct. 16th from 8:00am to 12:00pm at the old gym in Wewahitchka, food donations will be handed out. DO NOT get out of your vehicles. It will be a drive through ONLY. They will load items into your vehicles. Bags and boxes are limited. They are prepping for families of 4 for 2 days. If you have boxes, bags, laundry baskets, etc. please bring them for your items. The line will start on East River Road, down 2nd Street, up East Magnolia Avenue and then vehicles will pull up in front of the gym. This location will also serve as a donation drop off point.

Holmes County

The curfew in Holmes County has been lifted. HCSO urges everyone to still use caution when traveling as restorative efforts continue.

Relief efforts continued Monday with the Emergency Management Point of Distribution at EOC and the volunteer-led Regional Supply and Distribution at the old Bonifay Elementary School.

Holmes County Sheriff's Deputies also continue to deliver MREs and water to those in the county who cannot make it to these sites.

There will be a distribution of MREs, water, and other perishables in Esto from 4-5 p.m. Thursday, October 18 at John Clark Park. People can arrive between 1 and 3 p.m. to get a number. This is a first come, first served distribution.

Liberty County

Curfew in effect; only essential personnel to be on roadways until further notice

Buy-Rite Pharmacy in Bristol will be open 10:00 - 2:00, Monday - Saturday, until power is restored.

Piggly Wiggly is up and running with limited hours.

Both Dollar General Stores, both Bristol and Hosford, are open, cash only, one customer at a time.

T.J's Store - up and pumping gas with a $50 limit

Busy Boys - up may currently be out of gas with $50 limit.

Washington County

A curfew of 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. remains in place for Washington County until further notice to protect citizens, businesses and property.

PODs are located at Chipley High School, Vernon High/Middle School, and Wausau Possum Palace from 8a-6p until further notice.


Supply Points of Distribution (PODs) – Water, MREs (meals ready to eat) and ice (while supplies last) are available from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. with drive-through distribution. Stay in your vehicle. Locations are:

• Chipley High School, 1545 Brickyard Rd.
• Possum Palace, 3121 Possum Palace Dr.
• Vernon Middle School, 3232 Moss Hill Rd.
• Bonnett Pond Community Church has water, food and toiletries, 2680 Bonnett Pond Rd.
• Several grocery stores and restaurants have opened in Chipley near I-10.
