WALTON COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A South Carolina man is facing charges after a child porn investigation that started in Walton County.

An investigator with the Walton County Sheriff's Office Special Victims Unit began chatting with Ronald Hinch, 66, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, in December.

They say Hinch solicited who he thought was a 14 year-old girl for sex and sent nude photos of himself, but he was speaking with an undercover investigator. Deputies report he said he would travel to Florida to meet the girl for sex.

In May, investigators with the Walton County Sheriff's Office got an arrest warrant for Hinch. They say while searching Hinch's home, a large amount of child porn was found.

Hinch has been charged with ten counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, transmitting harmful material to a minor, using a computer to solicit a minor for sex, and using a two-way communication device in the commission of a felony.
