JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - School in Jackson County will start back on Monday, October 29.
Recovery teams have helped clear the schools over the last two weeks.
Grand Ridge School, Sneads High School, and Golson and Riverside elementary schools had the worst damage.
Teachers and administrators said they're excited to welcome students back.
"We want to be able to just love on them and that's our priority Monday is just to get them here, love on them, give them back that sense of classroom family and try to help restore community and things like that to them where they just feel like they're safe again within their little worlds," Golson Elementary School principal Amy Allen said.
A form will be sent home with every Jackson County student Monday about storm damage.
Parents are asked to fill it out and return it as soon as possible.
