Jackson County search warrant leads to seven arrests

JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - According to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, deputies executed a search warrant Friday that led to a total of seven arrests.

Officials say that with assistance from the North Star Multijurisdictional Drug Task Force and the Sneads Police Department, deputies searched a residence located on Sand Basin Road in the Grand Ridge/Sneads area.

At the residence, officials say deputies found a variety of controlled substances, drug paraphernalia, ammunition, and firearms.

Amos Rodgers, 54, of Grand Ridge; Gregory Hunt, 36, of Chipley, and Bryan Thompson, 35, of Marianna, who all had outstanding warrants, were located and arrested.

In addition to the three arrests, four more people were arrested as a result of the search warrant.

Kimberly Hatcher, 52, of Grand Ridge; Joshua Crawford, 33, of Marianna; Stacey Crawford, 33, of Marianna, and Ricky Ricks, 53, of Indiana, were all arrested.

Officials say numerous citizen complaints led up to the warrant. They also say the investigation is part of Operation "Crushed Ice." The operation has resulted in 32 cumulative arrests across the area.

They say more arrests are to be expected.
