JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Jackson County's School Board announced Thursday all school supplies for students in Jackson County School District schools will be provided by the school board for the upcoming school year.
Officials say the school district has received donations and money after Hurricane Michael and recently received a $50,000 grant from Save the Children.
Superintendent Larry Moore said he made this decision hoping to help families financially after Hurricane Michael.
Schools will give families information on the way supplies will be dispersed for the 2019-2020 school year.
