A video of a fight in Panama City Beach is getting a lot of attention on social media.

Panama City Beach Police responded to the Circle K at the corner of Front Beach Road and South Thomas Drive on the east end of the beach Sunday night to reports of a large crowd of more than 300 people on site.

Officials say there were "several skirmishes" at this convenience store.

Video circulating on social media shows a man laying on the ground unconscious with blood pooling around his head.

According to officials, there was a man who was in a fight with others and was hurt. They say he was taken to a local hospital where he was treated and released.

At this time, no arrests have been made but an investigation is ongoing.

Panama City Beach City Officials say officers have contended with large crowds of people gathering in private parking lots throughout the weekend. They say as the crowds were broken up, they moved to other areas.

City staff will meet Tuesday with Police Chief Drew Whitman to address safety concerns for locals and visitors. City officials say they anticipate reaching out to private businesses where these gatherings happen to help with security and crowd control for the safety of all.
