Good Tuesday morning everyone!
It's a quiet start on radar this morning with just a few low level clouds out in the far eastern sky. That should lead toward a wonderful sunrise!
Otherwise, you'll notice a nice change out the door this morning with a less humid and slightly cool start! Most of the I-10 corridor woke up nearly 10 degrees cooler this morning, and closer to a 15 degree change on the coast. The morning started in the upper 50s inland to low 60s on the coast. Some may want to grab a light jacket as we'll remain in the comfy 60s through 8am!
Sunshine will go to work on temperatures fairly quickly, so I don't anticipate you needing the jacket much past 9am as we'll move into the low to mid 70s by then. Highs today in some locations may only reach the upper 70s to near 80 degrees away from the coast in the Wiregrass, while the coast has a shot at highs around 80°.
High pressure is moving in behind yesterday's cold front, and as it slides in from the northwest, we'll still fall in the clockwise northerly side of the ridge. That will help draw in some drier conditions at the surface, so you'll notice it won't feel as humid outside for the next couple days. The drier air paired with sinking motion from high pressure in the atmosphere will also tend to lead to sunnier skies for the next several days.
In fact, we won't have much for a rain chance for the rest of the work week!
For today, mainly sunny skies with slightly cooler than seasonal highs in the upper 70s inland to near 80 degrees on the coast. Your 7 Day Forecast features a nice sunny streak over the next several days as temperatures remain pleasant in the mornings near 60 degrees to low to mid 80s inland.
