PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Some local government vehicles are up for grabs this weekend at the Government Surplus Auction.
Event organizers say they'll be selling vehicles from Talquin Electric, the Bay County Sheriff's Office, and more government agencies to the highest bidder. They'll also be auctioning tools, lawnmowers, and other equipment.
"All the vehicles we're selling out here, no reserved, are gonna go to the highest bidder. All of that money goes right back to the government agency to their general fund to support activities that we need in our area," said Florida Auction Network Owner Jon Sewell.
The event begins Saturday at 8 a.m. at 3847 E. Bus Highway 98 in Panama City.
