PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Grab your horse and jester because this weekend the North West Florida Renaissance and Cultural Faire was in Panama City.

The NWFL Renaissance and Cultural Faire was hosted by Crystal Cottage this year. (WJHG/WECP)

The fair took place on Saturday and Sunday.

People showed up in dresses from the Renaissance Era and could even buy a dress if they didn't have one. The fair had everything from fake sword fights to tarot card readings.

Crystal Cottage, located off of Highway 2301 in Panama City, hosted the fair this year. It was their first time holding an event since Hurricane Michael destroyed their property last year.

Darce Blakely of Crystal Cottage Outreach, said, "Getting people out of the old Michael kind of down, is picking people up and lifting people up where they're coming out and dressing up and having fun, kind of getting out of that time when we were down through Michael."

Money raised by Crystal Cottage Outreach, a non-profit, goes towards other non-profits in the area.
