Would you know what to do if someone riding a motorcycle went down? It may take minutes of critical time before EMS arrives, making bystander intervention a potential life-saver.

Cindy Leavel, a nurse, has been hosting accident scene management classes in our area. She joined us in our studio with a live demonstration.

The class teaches you basic care specific to a motorcycle crash. Attendees learn live-saving skills and how to decrease the severity of injuries, including how to remove a full face helmet while maintaining spinal alignment. No riding skills are involved. Students receive a workbook packet for class and a sew-on patch at completion.
