Local senior facility puts on Mother's Day parade

Folks at Superior Residences in Panama City Beach celebrated Mother's Day a few days early Friday afternoon.

Staff members put on a special Mother's Day parade for residents. They paraded outside the building while people watched from below and above, all while singing and dancing along.

“The little things like this during this time, during the virus, really makes a big difference. It helps them get outside; we still practice social distancing. However, it does put that smile on their face," Superior Residences Sales and Marketing Director Kim Durham Redding said.

They hope to have an even bigger celebration when the pandemic is over.
