LYNN HAVEN, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - City buildings in Lynn Haven may be closer to being back in business, at least that's the goal of city leaders. At Tuesday's commission meeting, several more meetings were scheduled to discuss rebuilding the city structures destroyed or damaged by Hurricane Michael.

Mayor Margo Anderson said every city building was damaged by the storm, including city hall and the police department. Anderson said the upcoming meetings will focus on strategic plans and public input. She's hoping to make the city buildings better than they were before.
"Allowing at each one of those meetings to talk about the designs of each of the buildings and parks. Just to get public input about this. How much do you think we should spend on this? Do you like this design?" said Anderson.
City leaders also approved a $6 million project to build a local sports complex.
