Okaloosa County Sheriff's Deputies arrested a Crestview man after they say a man called 9-1-1 Thursday morning to report an angry friend was following his truck and shooting at him because of a failed drug deal.

Deputies say they were told two men in a red truck were chasing and shooting at a white truck.

Deputies say they were able to spot the trucks driving westbound on Highway 90 and they attempted a traffic stop.

Deputies say after chasing the suspects down multiple streets, they hit a dead end. Once stopped, deputies say the driver jumped out and ran, while the front seat passenger was taken into custody.

Deputies say Michael White Jr., 26, of Crestview, was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and possession of a firearm or ammo by a convicted

felon.

Deputies say additional charges are forthcoming.
