Man barricades himself in home following felony warrants

OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. A Niceville man is facing multiple charges after he barricaded himself in his house when deputies arrived to serve him two felony warrants.

Jeffrey Lee Davis, 36, was being served warrants by Okaloosa County Sheriff's Deputies for two counts of possession of a controlled substance and uttering a forged instrument Tuesday when he decided to lock himself in his home, according to deputies. The Okaloosa County Special Response Team arrived on scene shortly after.

They say Davis ultimately surrendered to the Special Response Team but will now face additional charges.
