If unused or expired prescription medicines get into the wrong hands, serious complications can occur. Doctors worry about the potential of overdosing and the abuse of opioids.
Gulf Coast Regional Medical Center is holding a Drug Take Back on Saturday, October 26 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Gulf Coast Regional Medical Center's Diagnostic Center at 2024 State Avenue in Panama City. You are encouraged to bring any old or unused medicines to the event for proper disposal.
