As we look ahead to 2020, doctors are urging patients to make a healthy heart part of their new year's resolutions. Cardiologist Dr. Don Davis says a healthy diet, exercise and not smoking are all lifestyle choices that can extend your life.
Dr. Davis recommends reducing sugar intake and carbohydrates. He says 30 minutes of exercise six days a week is the recommended amount of physical activity for most people. These are simple steps that can be taken to improve cardiovascular health.
