PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Children who require routine or emergency surgery can be treated in the Panhandle. Pediatric Surgeon Dr. Beth Walford is one of two pediatric surgeons working at Gulf Coast Regional Medical Center. She says it's not necessary for parents to travel far from home to have their child's surgery needs met.
Pediatric surgery is a specialized field, and Panhandle residents don't have to leave the area to have their children's needs addressed. (Pixabay)
Dr. Walford sat down to talk about the importance of having a specialist who can serve area children in our Medical Monday report. Click on the video attached to this article to hear more from Dr. Walford.
